Catch, which was originally known as 3banana, seeks to provides a relatively simple interface for quickly scribing a few notes, and offers you the ability to manage them. Whether its text lists, reminded, audio notes, or image-based notes, you can “catch” it all, and sync all the info to Catch’s servers, enabling you to get access from any web capable device.

While the original app, like most apps in the Android market, runs perfectly fine on Honeycomb, the new Honeycomb-optimized release takes full command of everything Android 3.0 Honeycomb has to offer. Honeycomb uses fragments to provide multiple interactive panels on your tablet’s screen. It’s one of the best and most comprehensive note taking programs for Honeycomb to date, and raises the bar. The interface has been thoughtfully implemented, and is now completely optimized for Honeycomb. Much like in the PC version of Google Earth, you can now get related tags of information like images taken close to where you are searching, pages from Wikipedia, and even video. These “content pop-ups” essentially allow you to view additional info or images from a location without the need to have multiple pages open. We can’t recommend this app highly enough!

We only bought our tablets for work right? Yeah right. One of the latest and greatest games to come to Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Pinball HD gives you a highly responsive, compelling, and near-authentic experience of when Pinball experienced its glory days. With three wonderfully realistic pinball tables to play on and try, it offers a very beautiful high-tech revision of a favorite classic. Plus, it’s not really like it requires more than a few brain cells to operate, and makes for a few minutes of fun here and there.

This is a Tegra 2 Exclusive, and as such, is available for all Android tablets powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor, which are almost all of them, so no worries. You know you want to see how good it looks. Check it out, definitely worth the effort.

It’s early in Honeycomb’s Honeymoon, but we’re constantly on the hunt – both day and night – to find the most amazing, innovative, useful, and just plain beautiful apps that can really show off what your newly acquired tablet can do. So, if you’re in the market for an extremely beautiful and rich looking game, then Samurai II: Vengeance was made for you. It’s one of those games where you can actually get distracted by how beautiful it is, and have your game play suffer as a result. itself because we’ve been marvelling at the visuals too much.

With very cool comic book-style intros, and high quality graphics, we can certainly see people being happy to pay for this particularly beautiful game. The controls are easy to learn, and are quite satisfying in actual use. Hacking and slashing with flicks on the finger is a good way to blow off some steam.

The hardware in your table is capable of producing some seriously high end visuals, and with Samurai II: Vengeance, we are just beginning to get a glimpse of where we are headed. It does an excellent job showcasing how fantastic gaming is going to look on Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets, and bodes very well for the future.
